Subject: Announcement of Exciting Merger to Create a Stronger Little League Organization

We are thrilled to announce that Union Township Little League and Mt. Pleasant Little League have signed an agreement and have officially merged to form Mt. Pleasant UT Little League, effective immediately. This historic decision strengthens our commitment to providing a superior Little League experience for all players in our community.

Why are we merging?

By joining forces, we will:

• Increase playing opportunities: Mt. Pleasant UT Little League will offer a wide range of divisions and teams, allowing more players to participate and experience the joys of Little League.
• Enhance competitive balance: With a combined player pool, we can create more balanced divisions and provide more competitive games for all levels.
• Improve resources and facilities: The combined resources of both leagues will allow us to invest in better fields, equipment, and opportunities for player development.
• Build a stronger community: This merger brings together families, volunteers, and coaches from both leagues, fostering a united and supportive environment for our players.

• Players: Registration information for the upcoming season can be found here.
• Parents and Volunteers: Your continued support is vital to the success of our new league. We encourage you to volunteer your time and talents to ensure a smooth transition and a fulfilling experience for all players. There are numerous opportunities including: coaching, concessions, field maintenance, tournament coordinator, etc.
• Supporters: We greatly appreciate your community's ongoing support of Little League. We believe this merger will further strengthen our program and continue to provide positive experiences for our youth.

The newly formed merged board met on 01/28/2024 and subcommittees have been formed.

We are confident that this merger will be a positive step forward for Little League in our community, and we look forward to building a bright future together as Mt. Pleasant UT Little League.

Additional Information:

Any child that lives in the Beal City School district that played in the Union Township Little League last year has the option to play in the newly combined Mt. Pleasant UT Little League if that is preferred.
